Emails: We send our
occasional email newsletters to all students on our courses for whom we have
an email address. If you do not wish to receive such messages, please let us
know and we will remove you from our list.
Enrolment on one of our distance learning courses
for ICSA entitles the student to
the following:
A full set of Campbell's College distance learning notes,
a set of past exam papers on CD, a study guide and a
reference textbook.
Lecturer support by email and phone at agreed times.
The marking of the pieces of work set by your lecturer in the distance
learning notes.
This support and marking is available from the time of receiving your
first distance learning mailing until the examination week in the period for
which you are enrolled or as advised by your tutor.
If you complete all the set work and wish to send in extra essays
for
marking, you must agree this first with your lecturer and then inform the
Campbell's College Administration department who will invoice you for an
extra marking fee of £95
which will entitle you to send in up to 6 extra pieces of work for marking.
Marking of work
Lecturers will try and
return your work as quickly as possible but there will be times when
individual tutors are away or are teaching overseas. Delays may therefore
occur but we try to keep you informed. Please try and send in your work on a
regular basis throughout the course. We do not set deadlines so you can be
flexible but we would prefer not to receive hundreds of essays in the week
before the exam!!!
Mailing dates
The dates shown on the
confirmation form you are sent are for guidance only. If you enrol early,
updates may not be complete and mailings may be later than stated. If you
enrol late, we will speed up the mailings to ensure you have everything in
good time for the exam.
Payments
We reserve the right to
withhold mailings if payment has not been received within 30 days of
invoicing unless prior arrangements have been made. Please make sure any
invoices are given to the person responsible for paying as soon as possible.
Payment can made in instalments if required.
Deferral of courses
If you are unable to sit the exam at the end of the period for which you
are enrolled for a particular subject with Campbell's College, you may defer
until the next examination session.
You must notify the Campbell’s College administration department that you
do not intend to sit the exam and wish to defer your distance learning
course until the following session. We must receive notification before the
exam week and we will notify your lecturer and arrange for support to
continue during the following exam session.
We will send you an invoice for the
deferral fee of £69.00
to cover our administrative costs. If updated notes are necessary, these
will be emailed to you.
You may then continue to receive your lecturer support by email and phone
during the next session and may submit any remaining pieces of work
for marking.
You may only defer a course once. After this time, we strongly advise you
to enrol for the complete course with updated notes or you can continue with
the material you have but without the support.
Retakes
If you fail an examination and want to work through the Campbell's
College Distance learning course again using the notes you already have or
using updated notes sent by email - plus
support and marking, we will charge a ‘resit fee’ of £95.00.
This entitles you to continue with your lecturer support and to work through
the assignments again.
To work through the notes again without support is of course free!
This service is available only for the exam session following that for
which you originally enrolled. After this time, notes will be out of date
and we would advise enrolling for a complete new course.
Complaints procedure
If anything goes wrong, please phone me as
soon as possible to discuss the issue and we will try to find a solution. If
you are still unhappy, please write to us and we will investigate the
problem then reply to you as soon as possible.
