INTRODUCTION:
The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)
is the professional body for Chartered Secretaries.
Chartered
Secretaries are qualified in management, corporate Law, accounts, corporate
governance, administration and company secretarial practice. They are
trained to chart a course through regulation, legislation and best practice
and to deliver effective operations.
Chartered Secretaries work as company secretaries and in senior positions in
companies, charities, local government and trade organisations.
The
ICSA International Qualifying Scheme is the only professional
accreditation programme to offer postgraduate training across board-level
business practices: corporate governance; law; finance; administration;
company secretaryship and management. The ICSA Offshore qualifications are
for those working in the offshore finance sector.
