Entry point and Exemptions
Your entry point to the ICSA
International Qualifying Scheme will depend upon your previous
qualifications. CERTIFICATE,

Certificate in Business Practice
- open entry. No qualifications required.
2.
Diploma in Business Practice
will be your entry point if you hold one of the
following:

Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration
Certificate in Business Practice

Candidates who register with the Institute
from 1 September 2007 and are fully qualified
members of:
ACCA Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants
CIMA Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
CIPFA Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants
ICAEW Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales
ICAI Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland
ICAS Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland
will be required to take the following four ICSA modules in order to
complete the examination requirements of the International Qualifying
Scheme:
Corporate Secretaryship
Corporate Administration
Corporate Governance
Corporate Law (instead of Corporate Financial Management)
Candidates who registered before 1 September 2007 will continue as before.
In order for the Institute to ensure you enter at the correct entry point,
you must provide authenticated photocopies of any educational certificates
upon which your claim is based. Please note that exemptions are a concession
granted by ICSA and not an automatic right. ICSA does not award exemptions
for work experience.
