The Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme (CSQS)
is the new ICSA qualifying scheme.
The first
exams are in June 2011
Campbell's College will have distance learning
courses ready to start in January 2011 and will provide revision courses in
London in May 2011. We will be introducing some new features - so
watch this space! Remember, we have specialised in ICSA for over 18 years
and will bring all this experience and our now famous customer service and
student support to the new syllabus courses!
The CSQS is a revised and up-dated professional scheme,
taking into account changes in the markets and contexts in which the
profession operates. Like the current qualifying scheme, it provides a
broad skills base in law, finance and strategy, with a focus on governance,
corporate law and compliance. There is a Health Service Governance module
which students working within the health service can opt to take instead of
Corporate Governance. It also introduces a new final Case Study module.
Students studying the current qualifying scheme will
be transferred across to the new scheme and
will be required to study the same number of modules as under the current
scheme.
