Environment
The syllabus covers the
following topics:
Offshore centres, The legal
environment, Taxation Concepts, Banking, Offshore Financial Services, Money
Laundering.
COFA: Trust and Company
Principles
The syllabus covers the
following topics:
Introduction to Company Law
and Administration, Introduction to Trusts, Business Administration
COFA: Accounting Fundamentals
The syllabus covers the
following topics:
Principles of Accounting,
Bookkeeping, Adjustments and Financial Statements
COFA: Investment
The syllabus covers the
following topics:
Investment Management,
Environment, Markets, Instruments and Regulation
COFA exams are 2 hours
long and are split into 3 sections.
Section A: 10 multiple choice
questions worth a total of 20 marks
Section B: 5 short answer
questions worth a total of 30 marks
Section C: Choice of 2 out of
3 essay-style questions worth 25 marks each.
Exams are held in February and
July each year.
