These
new introductory short courses are designed for those students who wish to gain some background knowledge to the subject matter before
starting study for the ICSA CSQS or other Professional level
qualifications. The courses are not accredited
but are optional extras provided by our lecturers.
ICSA say the following about the entry
requirements to the CSQS
'We
strongly recommend that if you do not have any degree level qualifications
or relevant work experience you should undertake some form of preliminary
study before registering for CSQS. Even if you have prior qualifications and
experience, you may not feel familiar enough with all the subjects to go
straight into study at CSQS level. If this is the case, you should consider
doing some introductory-level study in these subject areas.'

a final assignment to be
sent to your tutor for marking. As each subject area is a separate course,
you are free to select just those subjects which will be most useful or
which fill a gap in your knowledge. Notes will also be available as a
.doc file on request.
